Here's where I keep the list of hardware that I would use to put together my next computer, which would be state-of-the-art, yet cost effective.

I have made my selections based quality, performance, price, reliability, and experience. All prices are from newegg.com and do not include shipping, tax, or software. Prices with "~" indicate a list of products to choose from. The product chosen should not exceed ±20% of the noted price.

I also included 'upgrades' that trade price for some high-tech splurging. If you select an upgrade, the total price will update automatically.
